Palmer of United Way to Discuss ‘Insights Into The Nonprofit Community’ During Dec. 9 Chamber event

Henderson Chamber of Commerce to host monthly network breakfast

HENDERSON, Nev. – "Insights Into The Nonprofit Community" will be the topic of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s Tuesday, Dec. 9, network breakfast, which will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Terrace Banquet Halls, 1361 W. Warm Springs Road.

Cass Palmer, president and CEO of the United Way, will present. Palmer has more than 23 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, government and political arenas, non-profit organizations and union environments.

Before joining United Way, Palmer was the senior vice president, chief human resource officer at Tropicana Entertainment Inc. During his tenure, he played an integral part in restructuring Tropicana Entertainment, which was the first major company in the gaming industry to successfully complete a Chapter 11 reorganization.

The last day to RSVP for the breakfast is Friday, Dec. 5. Cancellations are required by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund. RSVP online at hendersonchamber.com.

Cost for the breakfast is $25 for members and $45 for non-members. An additional $10 will be charged for walk-ins.
